量子情報処理分野に関する最新技術や実用化動向を幅広く発信するシンポジウム。2021年12月7日〜9日。オンライン開催。要事前登録（無料）。

Quantum Innovation 2021 (The International Symposium on Quantum Science, Technology and Innovation) will be held as a virtual conference from Tuesday, December 7^th, through Thursday, December 9^th.

The aim of this symposium is to introduce quantum information processing technology and its trends in practical applications through guest speeches and technical sessions of each field. We expect to share a common view on the current study status including implementation results both in Japan and abroad as well as to promote international collaborations through the meetings with key persons from each country. We look forward to your participation.

NICT, as a host, hosts the Quantum Cryptography & Communication Track, which takes place between 21:00 and 24:30 on both December 8^th and 9^th.

This track is full of exciting talks and intensive discussions by notable speakers from academia, operators and vendors from Europe, the US and Japan. It comprises the following sessions:

CC-04 (21:00-24:30, December 8^th) Introduction of the latest trends of research and development in the Quantum Cryptography field
CC-05 (21:00-22:30, December 9^th) Field test of Quantum Cryptography and other significant activities towards its practical application
CC-06 (23:00-24:30, December 9^th) Panel discussion attended by the operators of each country

Overview of the symposium program

1.Program Outline	(1)Plenary Sessions: Distinguished speakers from different countries and different industries will give talks on the future prospects of their field. (2)Keynote Speeches: Researchers will talk about technology trends of their study fields. (3)Technical Sessions: Exchanging information about achievements in the three fields of quantum computing, quantum sensing, and quantum cryptography & communication at each research hub/base or country.
